PBS NewsHour (Funding Credits) encompass a series of missing funding credits for the PBS nightly news program PBS NewsHour.
PBS NewsHour is an American evening news program that debuted on PBS on October 20, 1975, originally under the title The Robert MacNeil Report. The show would later be titled under various names, including The MacNeil/Lehrer Report, The MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour, The NewsHour With Jim Lehrer, and its current name, PBS NewsHour. It was created after MacNeil and Jim Lehrer won an Emmy award for their 1973 coverage of the United States Senate Watergate hearings, and since then has aired on Mondays through Fridays, followed by the addition of a weekend edition anchored by Hari Sreenivasan on September 7, 2013. But for some strange reason, many the funding credits (a staple of PBS programming) have never surfaced online, and some financial supporters of PBS NewsHour remain unclear.
Since the creation of this article, a large number of NewsHour funding credits have been made available on YouTube.
