MAKING THE GRADE 80s sitcom opening credits

The opening credits.

Although Gary David Goldberg's company Ubu Productions was most famous for producing the NBC hit Family Ties, it was not his first production under said company. That honor goes to Making the Grade, a spring 1982 CBS sitcom set in St. Louis Franklin High as their diverse staff (including the likes of James Naughton, Graham Jarvis, Alley Mills, and a pre-Cheers George Wendt) deals with a typical roster of students. Six episodes were shown before it was cancelled, and all that has been seen since is the opening credits.
