I Love You was a TV variety special that aired over NBC on February 14 (Valentine's Day), 1978. It featured various comedy spots and segments where celebrities reflected on love. Guest stars included Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch, Edgar Bergen (in one of his last appearances before his death) and Mortimer Snerd, Doc Severinsen, Ed McMahon, Jack Albertson and Gabriel Melgar (from Chico and the Man), Paul Lynde, David Brenner, Don Rickles, Phyllis Diller, and Telly Savalas. It was mentioned en passante in a Sitcoms Online forum post in 2006, but very little information exists about it.
