The 20th episode of the second season focused on respiration and it originally aired on January 7, 1995. A different version of this episode was made and it had quite a few differences from the more well known version. The opening scene had Bill Nye wearing a coat and breathing in the cold instead of him yelling at the mountain. Another scene that was cut from the more common version was a scene where Bill Nye placed a coin inside the Soda Machine of Science and it shook and smoked.
