After the interview with one of the snake-eating guests, Ernie the Mongoose, he doesn't want to go, but he gets carried away by having Stinky and Jake out of the way so he can host the rest of the show. He interviews Kyle the Secretary Bird, only they argue over which is the better snake eater afterwards. Jake breaks up the argument by having Kyle sing his song, while he and Stinky have a talk. Ernie plans on everyone wearing hard hats (in which Armstrong doesn't like much to the annoyance of Bunnie), and wants Yves losing his French accent. Around the end of the show, Stinky and Jake stand up against Ernie, in which he confesses that his wife and children are visiting their relatives and that he has nowhere else to go. Stinky and Jake decide to have Ernie stay until his family returns.
